Every Thursday evening at 7:30 PM, the Glenway Church family gathers virtually on Zoom to pray together — lifting up one another, interceding for our community, and seeking the face of the Lord. This is not a formal service. It is a sacred space of heartfelt prayer, shared faith, and collective trust in a God who hears and answers. All are welcome — whether you have been praying for decades or you are just learning how. Come as you are, and let us pray together.
How to Join Us on Zoom
Joining our Thursday Zoom Prayer Meeting is simple and free. No special equipment is needed — just a phone, tablet, or computer and a heart ready to seek God. Follow the steps below to connect with us each Thursday at 7:30 PM.
- Download the free Zoom app at zoom.us or from your device's app store if you have not already done so.
- At 7:30 PM on Thursday, open Zoom and click "Join a Meeting."
- Enter the Meeting ID: [Insert Zoom Meeting ID] and Passcode: [Insert Passcode].
- You will be placed in the waiting room and admitted by the host shortly before the meeting begins.
- Mute your microphone upon entering unless invited to pray aloud. Feel free to use the chat to share praise reports or prayer needs.
What to Expect
Each Thursday prayer meeting follows a spirit-led format that lasts approximately one hour. We open with a brief word of scripture and encouragement, move into a time of corporate prayer and intercession, include a season of personal and specific prayer requests, and close with praise and thanksgiving. The atmosphere is reverent but warm — there is room here for every voice, every tear, and every praise. First-time visitors are always welcomed and never put on the spot.
