What We Offer
Every Friday at 7:00 PM, our Youth & Young Adult Ministry gathers for an evening designed to inspire, challenge, and connect. Whether you are in middle school, high school, college, or your twenties, there is a place for you here.
Worship & Praise
We open every Friday with powerful, youth-led worship. Music is a language young people speak fluently, and we use it to usher in God's presence with authenticity and energy.
Bible Teaching & Discussion
Every week features relevant, Scripture-based teaching that connects God's Word to real-life challenges — relationships, identity, purpose, pressure, and faith. No fluff, just truth.
Fellowship & Community
Faith grows best in community. We build genuine friendships, support one another through life's seasons, and create a space where young people feel truly known and loved.
Community Outreach & Service
We take the love of Christ beyond our walls. Youth and young adults participate in neighborhood outreach, food drives, and service projects that make a real difference in Dorchester and beyond.
Prayer & Intercession
Prayer is the engine of our ministry. We create intentional spaces for young people to develop a personal prayer life and intercede for their families, schools, and community.
Special Events & Retreats
Throughout the year we host special events, movie nights, outings, guest speakers, and retreats designed to deepen faith and build lifelong friendships.
Meet Our Youth Leadership
Our youth leaders are called, committed, and passionate about seeing the next generation flourish in faith. They walk alongside young people with wisdom, encouragement, and a genuine love for God and people.
Minister James Thompson
Youth Ministry Director
Minister Thompson has devoted over a decade to empowering young people through Scripture, mentorship, and community. He leads our Friday evening gatherings with energy and a shepherd's heart.
Sister Denise Williams
Young Adults Coordinator
Sister Williams brings creativity, compassion, and a passion for authentic community to our young adult programming. She helps college-age and twenties believers find belonging and purpose at Glenway.
Deacon Marcus Reed
Worship & Music Leader
Deacon Reed leads our youth worship team with anointed musicianship and a heart for building the next generation of worshippers. His vision is to see young voices lift the Name of Jesus with confidence and fire.
